Briggs & Stratton Corporation YardSmarts.com Survey Promotion 2009 Official Rules
1. Briggs & Stratton Corporation ("Sponsor") is the sponsor of the YardSmarts.com Survey Promotion ("the Promotion"). Sponsor is responsible for the overall administration of the Promotion and for the fulfillment of the prize. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules.
2. Sweepstakes Period: Entries for the Promotion may be submitted from June 19, 2009 at 12:00:00 AM CST through August 17, 2009 at 11:59:59PM CST (the "Promotion Period"). All entries must be received during the Promotion Period.
3. Prize: The winner will receive one (1) 16gb iPod Touch. One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries received in accordance with the Official Rules. The drawing will be held on or about August 24, 2009.
4. How To Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. You will be entered into the drawing by completing the full online survey and entry form and submitting the completed entry electronically to Administrator. Only entries received via survey link will be entered into the drawing. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or received through impermissible or illegitimate channels are void. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt. Entries become the property of Sponsor. The Sponsor is not liable for technical or equipment failures such as computer online systems failing, servers and/or provider services go down, or human error in connection with the Promotion. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. You may not exceed this limit by entering under different e-mail addresses. Entries are not valid unless the entry form is completed properly and is received from the e-mail address to which the survey was originally addressed. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible entries received.
5. The winner will be notified by email and must respond within ten (10) calendar days of the notification date. If notification is undeliverable or no response is received, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected in a drawing from the remaining entries. The winner will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. All prizes will be distributed upon receipt of this information. The winner is responsible for all taxes due on prizes.
6. Entry constitutes permission to use winner's full first name, last name initial and hometown for publicity without any additional compensation. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an e-mail entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered.
7. Decisions regarding receipt of entries, selection and processing are final. No substitution of prizes can be made by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Employees of Briggs & Stratton and its advertising agencies and promotion companies, agents, subsidiaries and immediate families are not eligible to enter or win.
8. Sponsor is not responsible for undeliverable, late, illegible, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for mechanical errors, typographical errors, computer malfunctions, display or viewing problems, faulty transmissions, or network errors during the submission of entries or the hosting of the Promotion.
9. The Promotion is open to residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The Promotion is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
